Call for Submissions: Anthology Celebrating Disability Community Voices

We are excited to announce we will now be accepting submissions for our upcoming anthology dedicated to amplifying the voices of those living with any form of disability. This collection aims to highlight diverse experiences, stories, and perspectives reflective of the richness of life within the disabled community. The theme of the overall anthology will be determined once stories have been selected.

Submission Guidelines

  • Theme: We welcome works that explore the lived experiences, challenges, and triumphs of individuals within the disability community. While a central theme will be created around submissions, our goal is to be focused on fantasy/science fiction storytelling.

  • Format: Submissions can include essays, poetry, short stories, and artwork.

  • Length: Written pieces should be no longer than 3,000 words.

  • Deadline: Please submit your work by Friday, March 20th, 2026. This date may be extended to allow more submission time if needed.

  • How to Submit: Send your submissions to andy.j.rusch@gmail.com with the subject line "Anthology Submission - [Your Name]." OR Submit form through MorganWolf Press website submission page.

Who Can Submit?

We encourage submissions from all members of the disability community, including but not limited to individuals with physical disabilities, sensory impairments, caregivers, mental health conditions, and neurodiversity. We welcome anyone to submit with connections to this vibrant community.

Why Participate?

This anthology aims to create a platform for underrepresented voices, fostering understanding and empathy within and beyond the disability community. By sharing your story, you contribute to a collective narrative celebrating resilience, creativity, and the diverse experiences of disabled individuals.

Join Us in Celebrating Underrepresented Voices

We look forward to reading your submissions and celebrating the rich tapestry of experiences within the disability community. Together, let’s create an anthology honoring our voices and stories.
